Kevin & Virginia Clarke
We are the owners of KC Siberian Husky Kennels and are located in the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, Canada. We have had the fortune of an amazing adventure with our pack and didn't realize we were making so many friends and memories along the way. Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory and our pack has taught us a lot about ourselves and so much more about humanity along the way. All adventures have a beginning and an end and we celebrate the wonderful journey we experienced as we retire our kennel. Thank you to all our extended families, furry and not; we love you all. Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not things to show.

August 17, 2017: It is with a heavy and broken heart we announce our cherished and faithful fur baby KC had to leave us today. She gave us so much love and joy over the last 12 1/2 years and left behind a fine legacy of 100+ descendants. We will remember her with every moment spent with the kennel she created.

April 24, 2018: Today we are not whole for our precious Mia Jane has left us. She was fighting her last battle and the only one she ever lost. It was so painful to watch such a sweet, active, funny, and loyal fur baby become so sick, so fast. We will miss her so.

Theodore (Teddybear; Teddy; TO; Tedmiester)
October 28, 2007 (6:15am) – June 11, 2015 (9am)
Kevin and I took our last car drive with Teddybear today. We learned on Monday (3 days ago) that Teddy had a number of cancerous tumors that were making him very tired. His last few days he was very brave though it was hard for him to breath and it took all his energy to go off the veranda to have a pee. Teddy was visiting Dr. George West (his doctor) on a regular basis the last few weeks and was always polite while George poked and x-rayed and drew blood. He even greeted George today although all he could do was raise his head to say hi. Until the last few days Tedmiester has been sleeping next to Kevin in our bedroom and halfway through the night Kev would have to take him outside as his breathing became more laboured; the last few nights, he hasn’t been able to climb the stairs and so KC (his mother) kept him company on the veranda. Teddy was one of those dogs who never gave us any problem. Unlike the husky nature, he never ran from us. He was happy to be at our side whether we were sitting or walking. He was his sister’s (Ellie Mae) other half and I know all 7 of our pack will miss him, but Ellie have the biggest adjustment to make. It will take time for the hurt to lessen and his presence will be felt in our kennel always. Mine and Kevin’s heart will always wear Teddy’s pawprints and he set a standard of love and loyalty for his pack. Rest In Peace Teddybear
